Endowments

Endowment support is an important way to support the mission of the School, and honor the interests of donors at the same time. Endowment funds are given for the long-term benefit of the School. Endowments invested by the School, with distributions from the fund supporting a specific purpose or programs. Endowments offer financial stability for the School, and annual distributions from the endowments provide a steady and predictable form of support.

Existing Endowment Funds

Generous donors over many decades have made gifts to establish endowment funds at Casady School. Some are named to honor or memorialize the donors who love Casady and want to perpetuate their support of the School. Others are named in honor of a beloved teacher or administrator. All of these gifts provide important funding that will continue to support Casady for many decades to come, and help ensure that the Casady tradition of excellence continues:

The value of Casady's pooled endowment funds at June 30, 2023, was $38 million. The School's Finance Committee oversees the investment and management of the funds and distributes funds to the School annually based on a distribution policy set by the Board of Trustees.
