The Wert Family

“Call it karma. Call it the great circle of life. Call it ‘What goes around comes around.’ After 60 years of association with Casady, our family calls it both a privilege and a responsibility to give back to the school which prepared, supported, and enriched us all."
“Casady prepared our six graduates (in two generations) in both arts and academia. Academically, the result has been graduate studies, professional degrees, and business success. In return, the Wert family has provided Casady with four faculty members―preschool to high school.

“All our grads were active in the arts at Casady, either on stage or in the technical production areas. We hope Casady will consider the underwriting of the ‘Wert Family Performance Hall’ as a return on investment for what the arts program provided our family in literary, dramatic, stagecraft, lighting, musical, ISAS performance, and international travel experiences.

“We are so pleased that Casady’s expansion plans include the 'Dan Wert Studio.' Dan envisioned a campus space capable of in-house production of audition tapes, college app videos, music, literary, or art presentations.  While Dan did not live to see this project come to fruition, it helps secure his legacy while serving future Casady students across the Arts spectrum.

“We’ve marveled at the School’s ability to help our individuals grow their unique talents. The expansion of the Performing Arts division will extend individual opportunities for excellence. So why give? In our case, it has less to do with a checkbook and more to do with sincere gratitude.”
