Toothpaste Challenge

Director of Community and Belonging BrieAnn Johnson chatted with fifth and sixth graders during SoulCraft on what Community means at Casady School.
Students then went head to head in the toothpaste challenge, attempting to get as much toothpaste out of, and then back into, the tube as possible.

The toothpaste challenge helps students visualize the impact of their words and actions; just as it's difficult to get toothpaste back into the tube, it's hard to undo or unsay harmful or disrespectful words and actions and their impact on the community.
