Cartesian Divers in Physics

Upper Division physics students explored the properties of fluids with Cartesian divers.
They applied pressure to the water, and the water transmitted that pressure to a tear dropper inside the bottle. Water forced its way in and compressed an air bubble increasing the density of the dropper causing it to sink.
