  • Maegan Beam, Primary Division Teacher

    Primary Division is excited to welcome Maegan Beam as a PreK teacher. Primary and Lower Division may recognize Ms. Beam, as she previously worked at Casady School as a Primary Division substitute and floater, a Lower Division After Care counselor, and a Summer by the Lake teacher. She recently graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Elementary Education.
  • Daniel Beck, Security Officer

    Casady’s Operations team has hired Daniel Beck as a new security officer. Mr. Beck comes to Casady with security experience, having previously worked as a security officer for GardaWorld.
  • Bailey Black, Lower Division Teacher

    Casady welcomes Bailey Black to Lower Division as a fourth grade teacher. She comes to us from Mustang Valley Elementary School where she taught fourth grade. Before joining Mustang Valley, Ms. Black taught at The Lab School of Oklahoma and Fairview Elementary School. She graduated with a B.A. in University Studies from Mid-America Christian University and is certified in instruction and curriculum.
  • Kenzie Caldwell, Lower Division Teacher

    Kenzie Caldwell joins Casady’s Lower Division as a second grade teacher. Mrs. Caldwell comes to our Casady Community from James L. Dennis Elementary School and Windsor Hills Elementary School where she taught second grade. She earned her B.S. in Elementary Education from Southern Nazarene University.
  • Joseph Caliri, Middle Division Latin

    Joseph Caliri joins Middle Division as a Latin teacher. Mr. Caliri previously served as a classical Latin instructor and street law instructor at Putnam City West High School. Additionally, he taught Latin at Mount Saint Mary Catholic High School and Edmond North High School. Mr. Caliri graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Master of Arts in History. He also graduated from the university with B.A.s in History, Classics, and Philosophy.
  • Laura Davidson-Oller, Lower Division Teacher

    Laura Davidson-Oller joins the Casady Community as a first grade teacher in Lower Division. Mrs. Davidson-Oller previously taught first grade at Northern Hills Elementary School in Edmond. She also previously worked as a PreK classroom assistant at Chisholm Elementary School, and as a Children's Day Out Pre-K teacher at New Covenant School. Mrs. Davidson-Oller graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a B.S. in General Studies.
  • Payton Fisher, Lower Division Teacher

    Lower Division has gained a new third grade teacher in Payton Fisher. Ms. Fisher previously served as a second grade teacher at Grove Valley Elementary School Edmond. Before joining Grove Valley, Ms. Fisher was a fourth grade teacher at Deer Creek Elementary School and a private tutor. She earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Oklahoma.
  • Stetson Harkness, PE Teacher | Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach

    Stetson Harkness has joined the Casady Community as a P.E. Teacher and Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. Previously, Mr. Harkness was Wide Receivers Coach and Sprints/Hurdles Coach for Deer Creek High School, strength and conditioning Graduate Assistant for Southern Nazarene University, and Offensive Assistant Coach for Guthrie High School. Coach Harkness graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a M.S.M. and an Exercise Science Degree.
  • Chester Lambert, Security Officer

    Operations welcomes Chester Lambert as a security officer. Mr. Lambert will greet visitors on a daily basis from the Welcome Center. Before coming to Casady, Mr. Lambert was a security officer for Mercy Hospital and SSM Health and served as a sonar technician in the U.S. Navy.
  • Holly Lee, Lower Division Teacher

    Lower Division is excited to have Holly Lee as a new member of the faculty. She brings more than a decade of teaching experience, having served previously as a Kindergarten teacher at St. Luke’s Methodist Church in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Lee also worked as a teacher and coach at Metro Gymnastics and as a third grade teacher at Nichols Hills Elementary School. Mrs. Lee graduated from University of Central Oklahoma with a B.S. in Elementary Education.
  • Lucie Kusbel, Primary Division Teacher

    Primary Division has recruited Lucie Kusbel as a PreK teacher. Mrs. Kusbel took the position in Primary Division after being a part of the  PreK program at Western Gateway Elementary School and teaching second grade at John Rex Elementary School. She holds an Early Childhood Education certification and is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Ms. Kusbel earned her B.S. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Central Oklahoma.
  • Riley King, Lower Division Music

    Casady School is excited to welcome Riley King as our new Lower Division music teacher. Before becoming a Cyclone, Mrs. King taught Lower School music at Parish Episcopal School in Dallas. She holds a Bachelor of Vocal Music Education from Southeast Missouri State and is a certified Level III Plano Kodály Teacher.
  • Greg Lowe, Upper Division Physics

    Greg Lowe has joined Casady’s Upper Division as a Physics teacher. He previously taught STEM at Stone Independent School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Previously, Mr. Lowe had been teaching math and physics along the west coast since 1999, instructing students at Oakwood School, Lakeside School, The Bishop’s School, California State University, and Army Navy Academy. His B.A. in Information Systems is from Texas A&M University. Mr. Lowe and co-author Eric Ayars published a paper in the peer-reviewed academic journal The Physics Teacher in 2010.
  • Katie Martinez, Lower Division Teacher

    Lower Division welcomes Katie Martinez as a first grade teacher. Before joining Casady, she taught second grade at Central Elementary School. Mrs. Martinez earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University.
  • Lacey Miller, Lower Division Administrative Assistant

    Returning to Casady as Lower Division Administrative Assistant is Lacey Miller, née Craig, who previously worked as Operations Assistant and Extended Programs Manager from 2020 to 2022. Mrs. Miller earned her B.S. in Kinesiology from St. Gregory’s University.
  • Skyler Thomas, Upper Division Computer Science

    Skyler Thomas will join Upper Division as a Computer Science teacher. Before coming to Casady, Mr. Thomas was an assistant professor of Gaming and Animation at Oklahoma Christian University. He has also worked as a graduate teaching assistant and adjunct professor at the University of Central Oklahoma, as well as an instructor of video/motion graphic and animation at Oklahoma Baptist University. Mr. Thomas earned his M.F.A. in Design from the University of Central Oklahoma, and his B.F.A. in Gaming and Animation from Oklahoma Christian University.
  • Hillery Washburn, Primary Division Teacher

    Primary Division has gained Hillery Washburn as a Kindergarten teacher. Before coming to Casady, Ms. Washburn was a Kindergarten teacher at Northern Hills Elementary School in Edmond. She earned her B.S. in Child and Family Services from Oklahoma State University and is certified in early Childhood Education.
  • Aaron Young, Varsity Girls’ Basketball Coach

    Cyclone Athletics is excited to welcome Aaron Young as the new Varsity Girls’ Basketball coach. Before taking the reins for the Cyclones, Mr. Young was the boys’ varsity assistant coach and JV head coach for Edmond Santa Fe High School, a personal skills trainer, and the Men’s Basketball Graduate Assistant Coach for Colorado State University. Mr Young played professional basketball for SVD 49 Dortmund in Dortmund, Germany, and played collegiately at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa. He holds a M.S.M. from Colorado State University and a B.S. in Sport Management from Oral Roberts University.
  • Jason Zielke, Technology Support Specialist

    Jason Zielke has joined Casady’s Operations Team as a technology support specialist. Mr. Zielke brings more than 27 years of IT experience, including stints as a Technology Alignment Manager for Amshot, an Information Technology Contractor for JAT Technologies, an IT system analyst for Echo Energy, several IT positions at Chesapeake Energy, and a Senior Network engineer at Coppermark Bank. He received his B.A. in Anthropology from University of Oklahoma. Mr. Zielke is a Casady parent, with two students in Middle Division.
FAMILIAR FACES | NEW PLACES
Versatility and talent are key in Casady School's faculty base. Several members of our community are assuming new roles this year. 
  • Candice Bailey is now a full time Upper Division counselor in Student Support Services.
  • Jared Hofer will join the Science Olympiad Team.
  • Tamara James is now a third grade teacher in Lower Division.
  • Zenie McEwen is now full time to provide strategic reading support to Primary Division Cyclones through Student Support Services.
  • Thalia Lopez has moved from Half-Day PreK and Spanish to be a Green Area teacher.
  • Valerie Manriquez will handle Athletics social media and continue as Advancement Team Assistant.
  • Sahira Mussa has moved from second grade to third grade in Lower Division.
  • Christina Zesiger will teach geography enrichment to Kindergarten and PreK.
  • Karla Zuniga will move from the Blue Area to the Red Area and will teach Spanish in PreK.
