Giving to Casady School

Annual Giving

Casady School relies on the generous support of its parents, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents, and friends to ensure it remains one of the premier independent, college preparatory schools in the region.

The Casady Annual Fund

The Casady Annual Fund is our highest giving priority and the first gift we ask of our community. Annual giving by alumni, parents, faculty, and friends provides unrestricted funds that make up 10% of gross revenue.

Your participation is an investment in Casady’s future and encourages others to join you in giving back. Every Gift Matters! When you give to the Casady Annual Fund, you support all areas of school life, such as:
  • Ensuring excellence in academics, the arts, and athletics.
  • Recruiting and retaining the best faculty and staff.
  • Maintaining our beautiful 80-acre campus, a cornerstone of our community.
  • Supporting ongoing professional development opportunities for faculty and staff.
  • Providing need-based financial aid to deserving students.
Your generosity strengthens Casady School and sustains its mission to develop excellence, confidence, and character in every Cyclone.

Frequently Asked Questions

List of 7 items.

  • What is the Casady Annual Fund?

The Casady Annual Fund is our most valuable source of unrestricted philanthropic support. Unrestricted support goes directly to the area of greatest need and has a direct impact on our students, our faculty, and our mission. It enables talented young people from every culture and community to attend Casady, regardless of their family's income level. It supports everything on campus - from program enhancements, classroom improvements, and competitive salaries for dedicated faculty to general campus maintenance.
  • What does the Annual fund support?

The Annual Fund contributes to all operating costs of Casady School, including hiring and retaining the best faculty, offering new and elevated programming, keeping up with technological advances, providing financial aid to our families, and much more.
  • We pay tuition, why should I give to the Annual Fund?

Tuition and fees do not cover the full cost of a Casady education and the Annual Fund exists to close that gap. The Annual Fund helps to keep tuition lower than it might otherwise be. Every student benefits from gifts to the Annual Fund.
  • How much am I encouraged to give?

Every gift, regardless of size, is important and appreciated and brings us closer to reaching our fundraising goal. Gifts of any size inspire more people to give; they are a vote of confidence in our school and our mission. EVERY GIFT MATTERS!
  • Who gives to the Annual Fund?

Casady’s Annual Fund donors include trustees, faculty/staff, parents, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni, friends, and corporate matching programs. 100% of the Trustees, Faculty/Staff, and Alumni Board give to show their commitment to our mission.
  • Why not raise tuition?

The Board of Trustees tries to keep tuition as low as possible so as many families as possible will be able to afford a Casady education. Raising tuition would restrict even further the number of families who could attend the school. At the same time, we endeavor to maintain the excellence of our academic programs and a diverse community. Charitable contributions help us achieve both goals. Additionally, donations to the Annual Fund are fully tax-deductible, while tuition is not. Donating to the Annual Fund benefits you more than raising tuition would.
  • Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes! Casady School is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and your gift to the Casady Annual Fund is 100% tax-deductible.
