Investing in Casady School

At the heart of Casady School is the Casady Community. The vibrancy of the School is made possible by its Endowment.

Casady School's Endowment is a collection of funds from donors and others who support a long-term investment, allowing for access to high-quality investment vehicles and broader investment opportunities to provide a permanent source of income to support its People, Places, and Programs through Strategic Initiatives that are furthered by the mission of Casady School.

Endowments typically grow over time through a combination of donations and investment returns. Endowment funds are a large source of revenue for Casady School. The endowment can help ensure long-term continuity and sustainability. It is through these gifts in perpetuity that provide support for the School to build upon our mission - a mission with a rich and vibrant history.

An endowment is one of an institution’s greatest assets and ultimate sources of long-term security, ensuring it can operate with an ideal student enrollment and faculty population while delivering the highest-quality programs.

As the School's Endowment grows, it allows Casady greater flexibility in achieving its strategic objectives with people and programs. It ensures that future generations receive the same or an even better caliber experience as current and past Cyclones. The Endowment provides a secure foundation of financial resources and can be dedicated to a specific purpose and goals such as financial assistance for mission-appropriate students who would benefit from a Casady education and might not be able to afford it or faculty professional development.

Endowments are like savings accounts that grow and generate income from the investment of the principal. For example, a gift to a named scholarship is put in an endowment so that the fund spins off additional income beyond the principal.

A gift to Casady’s Endowment is not a gift to the Annual Fund. The Annual Fund helps Casady day to day, and the Endowment supports the School’s growth and sustainability.
