Cyclones Honor Union Veterans
Casady seventh and 11th grade student volunteers honored local veterans by preparing and placing wreaths on headstones at the Union Soldiers Cemetery as part of Wreaths Across America Day.
The students prepared the wreaths for the ceremony, then placed the wreath and spoke each veteran's name aloud to honor and acknowledge their service. The students were hosted by Angela Nievar, Oklahoma Regents Council, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
