Since 1977 the Oklahoma Arts Institute has connected Oklahoma’s aspiring artists with renowned teaching artists from around the world. These artists travel to Quartz Mountain to provide collegiate-level training and mentorship to students in one of eight disciplines in the literary, visual, and performing arts. Named “Oklahoma’s Official School of the Arts” in 1991, through a joint resolution by the Oklahoma legislature, OSAI is the premier program for aspiring young artists.
