Third Graders Serve Those in Need

Casady third graders traveled to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma to serve those living with chronic hunger.
Students, chaperones, and teachers worked together to pack 42 boxes, 840 bags, and 1,344 pounds of food for a grand total of 1,120 meals for those struggling with food insecurity.

Casady is currently participating in the Students Against Hunger Drive, a chance for students and families to share the holiday spirit and support the community by donating to the Regional Food Bank. Donation boxes are in the office area of each Division. Only food donations are accepted such as canned or dry packaged foods. No glass jars are permissible for safety reasons.

Casady’s Service Learning Program aligns with the School's mission statement, striving to develop excellence, confidence, and integrity in our students. Service learning empowers Cyclones to engage their mind, body, and spirit to make a positive difference in their community and world.
