Cum Laude Inducts 2024 Members During Ceremony
Upper Division students and faculty gathered in Chapel to celebrate this year's newest Cum Laude Society members.
They were joined by the senior members inducted in 2023. The seven seniors and five juniors were chosen by a selection committee to be a part of the international honor society.
Casady Alum and Cum Laude Society member Dr. Robert Hyde ’00 delivered remarks during the ceremony, sharing his insights and journey with the gathered students. Dr. Hyde has forged an impressive path as an ophthalmologist specializing in inherited retinal diseases.
Cum Laude recognizes scholarship and stresses excellence, justice, and honor. Election to membership in the Casady chapter is limited to no more than 10 percent of the junior class and 20 percent of the senior class.
